Brushing and Flossing

Regular brushing of teeth is a critical step in the prevention of tooth decay and gum disease. Brushing removes harmful bacteria that accumulates daily. Flossing is an excellent compliment to your daily brushing routine because flossing removes plaque and bacteria that brushing alone cannot reach. The Canadian Dental Association (CDA) suggests that for optimum oral health, proper brushing should be performed after every meal and that you should floss once per day.
