Teaching Children Proper Dental Care

It's never too early to teach children how to take care of their oral health needs. We encourage all new parents to start oral care routines as soon as teeth erupt in a baby's mouth. Building correct and healthy care habits early will ensure that your children's teeth stay as healthy as possible for years to come. We've found that if children start visits to a dentist early on and are taught basic care routines from childhood, they are more likely to be able to avoid unnecessary trips to see us and are less anxious when they do come in for a visit. The Canadian Dental Association (CDA) has some excellent information about children's oral care, and we invite you to visit their website for more information.
